Net Emission Offsets & Carbon Sequestration

The land surrounding the St. Joseph, Missouri area is beautiful rolling cropland that is highly productive for corn and soybean production. The Producers of AgraMarke, Inc. who farm this land have adapted no-till farming practices for both environmental and economic reasons.Notill No-till farming, which leaves surface crop residue from prior years' crop production, reduces soil erosion, water runoff, water evaporation and helps soil fertility by increasing soil organic matter. The environmental effect of no-till farming is to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by sequestering soil carbon and reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

The Company's development of an emission offsets project adds value to AgraMarke members farm operations by offering programs to enhance our environment.Notill2 Soil carbon sequestration and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions benefit not only our environment but also our rural farm economies. AgraMarke has done extensive development of a GHG mitigation project which is "cutting edge". Our program is third party verified and certified. If you have an interest in net emission offsets, please contact us for more information. We are prepared to design a program to satisfy your particular needs.
