One example of such a program is that of extensive research in determining milling quality traits for white and yellow food grade corn processed at Lifeline Foods, LLC (www.lifeline-foods.com). This is done through a collaborative effort with seed companies, industry partners, universities and other third party contractors.
AgraMarke's continuing quest to help its membership in shortening their learning curve makes its research program extremely important. We can do research in one crop growing season which otherwise could take a member years to research. AgraMarke also acts as a third party testing company and verifier.
Our research department is constantly seeking ways to improve the quality, consistency and health characteristics of customers' food. Each year, a specific number of research test plots are planted with new experimental varieties on members' land so we know how the crops will perform in our geographic area.
