Our very livelihood depends on the purity and stability of the land that we farm. This is where we raise our children and supply food for our own tables. The environment is of the highest priority.
Members feel strongly that we make our living on the land and should be good stewards of its resources. Our members have invested much of their hard-earned money in conservation terraces, ponds and other practices in an effort to avoid soil erosion. The purchase of modern technology and equipment have allowed for contour farming and minimum to no-till farming practices. Cover crops and native grasses have been planted to enhance wildlife habitat in many areas. We constantly strive to preserve the productivity of the earth for future generations.
